After having been together for five years I was not at all nervous to take the next step. I did however, feel a little out of place eating lunch at Tim Hortons in full hair and makeup. Although, I once saw a bride in her gown at McDonalds ordering a BigMac. At least after our wedding we went through the Taco Bell drive thru!
We had a beautiful reception on the farm. My favorite photograph shows the two of us hand in hand in the middle of the wheat field. Back when we only put in two crops we would know by rotation which anniversary it was.
That night the fields sparkled with thousands of fireflies as we danced the night away.
What wonderful memories!
