We had great weather, made some new friends and had tons of fun.
We came together for meals in the shade of the japanese maple and ended up chatting like we've all known each other for years. I'll admit I was a little teary eyed when our camp mates all went their separate ways.
Our daughter was taken under wing by the two young boys next to us and they were so good to her, taking her on rides, playing soccer and answering a thousand questions. Kudos to their parents for raising such fine boys.
We were so thrilled to see her enjoying the fireworks show last night. In the past, she was so scared of the noise and bright explosions that one of would always miss the show. This year she was saying,"Cool!" and, "Look at that one!" and, "How do they do that?" Music to our ears!
The only thing I can't figure out is how to get this ride stamp off my hand!
